PAUL G. DURBIN’S TRIBUTE TO ORMOND MCGILL: I first met Ormond McGill in California at the American Counsel of Hypnotist Examiners Conference in 1988. I was having breakfast on the morning following a seminar I had presented on “Hypnosis and Religion”. The great master of hypnosis, Ormond McGill, came to my table and asked if he could set at the table with me. I was overjoyed. What an honor to have breakfast with Ormond McGill. He was so very nice to me. We talked about many things and focused on “past life regression.” I had mentioned in my presentation that I did not do “past life regression” because it did not fit into my theology. I did say that I considered Carl Jung’s “Collective Unconscious” as holding the memory of our ancestors which explained some aspects of “past life regression”. I also said that I referred clients who wanted to do a “past life regression” to a therapist who would do that kind of work.
Following the conference, Ormond send me a little booklet about a Private Lee who had many regressions to past lives. The most impressive regression being centuries ago. During the regression, he wrote a note which looked like scribblings. Ormond took the note to a University Language Department and it was discovered that the writing was Sanskrit. He sent me the book, not to convince me that I was wrong about my “past life theory”, but just for information. Over the years, he sent me many books and cassette tapes of his classes. He was always nice and greeted me as a friend whenever we met at various national hypnotherapy conferences. He was truly “The Dean of Hypnotism”, a kind and loving man who has had a positive influence in my life.
Paul, Would you please put the following announcement up with the tributes to Ormond? Thanks, I really appreciate it. Randal Churchill

ORMOND MCGILL’S EMAIL TO SHELLY STOCKWELL-NICHOLAS: (Written in the weeks before his passing. [used by permission of Shelly Stockwell-Nicholas http://www.hypnosisfederation.com/]): DEAR SHELLEY: Am mostly working on my recovering health. A slow process, but I am still on the planet. I hate to think of myself as getting old. Silly: why waste your energy thinking thoughts you hate to think about. As for YOU getting old -- it is quite impossible. “Old is a stabilized conjecture for the passage of time in 3-D space. The YOU that is the “I AM I” belongs to eternity. There is no time in eternity. We are what we think. To understand that takes maturity. Don’t ever get the bright idea that because one is old in years they are mature. For far too many older years just make them more juvenile. “How good the past was. How lousy the present is. How terrible the future will be.” Who does such a one think they are; some sort of prophet?
The truth is so obvious; “The past is but a memory which will never happen again, and the future will never happen at all. There is only the present. The present is “here and now.” Enjoy. The here and now is the “present.” It is like Christmas time, MERRY CHRISTMAS.
You are a trinity of body, mind and spirit. Your body is mortal and will ultimately dissolve in 3-D space. Your body can be likened to an organic suit-of-clothes you wear. Like any suit-of-clothes it will show signs of wear through wearing. Your body can learn to look better and wear longer. Mind and Spirit are immortal. Mind can convey oneself at any age inside the outer shell at any age it pleases to be. Jack Benny had fun at 39. If you like the 39ers good. Or possibly you prefer 29. Take your choice. Your spirit just shrugs and says: “Play the game any way you most enjoy. For the truth is “Nothing need be done.” Hypnotherapy can transform you from feeling old inside yourself to feeling young inside yourself.
I will be a bit out-of-touch with things for awhile, so will not be doing communicating … now I’ve got to get busy finding a new activity of interest. Wonderful success on your convention coming up and may all your projects do just fine. You are a busy girl and do a great job training and helping many people via hypnotherapy. Love To You and Jon, Ormond

ABOUT MYSELF BY ORMOND DALE McGILL: Excerpted from “McGill’s Hypnotherapy Encyclopedia,” 2004: (©Printed with permission, Creativity Unlimited Press- (310) 541-4844) [used by permission of Shelly Stockwell-Nicholas http://www.hypnosisfederation.com/]
I was born in Palo Alto, California on June 15th, 1913 to my other Julia (Ballele) and Harry McGill. When I was 15, I presented my first full evening magic show at “Poly” High and recited my Tarbell mail order Magic course patter word-for-word as though it was a sacred text. That wasn’t what Tarbell would have recommended. He himself emphasized the importance of being natural and yourself. This is good advice for Professional Hypnotherapists as well. Develop your own original style and you will be an outstanding Hypnotherapist.
Hypnotism came into my life while still in high school when the Danish Hypnotist, DeWaldoza, came to town to perform a “demonstration of suggestion” at the Masonic Lodge. DeWaldoza invited up two Stanford students as volunteers. One blindfolded him and the other was told to take an object from his pocket (it was a comb) and hide it with any person in the audience. The hypnotist, still blindfolded, used “contact mind-reading” and instructed the student who had hidden the object to “not lead him but simply concentrate on where the object was concealed.” Then gripping the student’s hand, he immediately found the comb. I volunteered to try the procedure and I too succeeded. The process was a result of “muscle reading” DeWaldoza said.
Next he presented demonstrations in what he called “waking suggestion.” He had everyone lock their hands together and invited those whose hands were locked tightly to come up and sit on the stage where they performed a most delightful “show of suggestion.” I went home and immediately sent in ten cents to Johnson, Smith & Company for a little book on hypnotism and faithfully followed the instructions.
After two years of college at San Jose State College majoring in psychology, my term paper on hypnotism was given in m psychology professor’s upper classes and I went on the road with Mandu the Magician and took correspondence courses in commercial art and advertising. I eventually went back to college to study art and advertising and co-authored the book “Advertising for the Independent Business Man.”
On September 29, 1943, after going together for 4 years, I married my sweetheart, Delight Beth Olmstead. We chose the path of the theater business with hypnotism as an integral part of the performances I presented under the name Dr. Zomb in theaters in the United States and Canada. I found I had a liking for sensational publicity stunts and performed many nutty things like escaping Houdini style, being alive, driving blindfolded or catching bullets in my teeth.
I appeared on Art Linkletter’s “People are Funny” radio show in 1944 and later on the television version. I also became the technical advisor for the movie “The Hypnotic Eye.” You can learn so much from books. I have enjoyed writing books. In 1944 I wrote “How To Produce Miracles” and in 1947, I wrote the “Encyclopedia of Genuine Stage Hypnotism” that was published and republished in 5 consequent editions by Percy Abbott and more recently in 7 additions by Crown House Publishing. In 1953, I did two works on hypnotism “A Better Life Through Conscious Self-Hypnosis” and “Dental Hypnosis” for Dr. Rexford North’s Journal of Hypnotism. Thirty-eight other books followed. One week after my wife Delight passed onwards, she began offering insights as to the nature of death while I lay in bed. After four days I wrote what was being given to me. In three weeks “The book of Delight” (published as “Grieve No More Beloved”) was completely written. I have the pleasure of channeling a spirit guide Patanjali, the Father of Yoga, who lived in Northern India around 319 B.C. and have learned from his sutras and processes to use the mind to advance consciousness from normal perception to super-consciousness. In Patangali’s words, “Yoga is the cessation of mind. Through yoga the witness is established in itself. In other states there is identification with the modifications of the mind. You bring your mind to a stop by not trying to control it in anyway.” The chapters in this Hypnotherapy Encyclopedia on hypnosis and yoga will help you to master the master’s ideas.
I am soon to turn ninety-one and I suppose that makes me an old man but honestly I don’t feel old at all. I don’t feel a bit different inside myself that I did at thirty-nine. I feel just fine. I can just be myself and it’s great. In this Hypnotherapy Encyclopedia I have shared things that have been created by me and things that have come to me as gifts I have treasured. May they have value practice of hypnotherapy and your life. Ormond McGill

RANDAL CHURCHILL'S SPEECH AT THE ORMOND MCGILL MEMORIAL - NOVEMBER 6, 2005: All of us here have something in common: our love for Ormond. And I want to acknowledge the profound bond that Marleen Mulder and Ormond had and have, that is indescribable. I have been honored by my deep friendship with him. In my very busy life, I have some very dear friends that I see just a few times a year. For many years now, I have been blessed to spend quality time with Ormond regularly, usually at least twice a week. He was and is one of my 3 closest friends. Ormond accomplished so much in so many ways. He was the most influential stage hypnotist of all time. He was a great magician whose career spanned 8 decades. He was accomplished in other fields. Ormond wrote countless books including some classics about the field of hypnosis, and wrote many more books about magic and other subjects.
I feel he was at his most profound and inspiring when he taught and demonstrated hypnotherapy. During his demonstrations and private sessions he could transform people's lives in minutes. I believe this was his greatest work of all. This does not in any way lessen his legendary status doing stage hypnosis, or teaching it or writing about it, or the achievement of his other great writings. His writings on hypnotherapy were often so innovative and insightful, but you had to be there to experience the magic of his presence taking it to a whole new level. And it's his teaching of hypnotherapy that I want to emphasize today. To be true to his teaching, I'll therefor sometimes be emphasizing his spirituality as well. As I got to know Ormond more deeply, I could more fully accept the reality of enlightenment.
We were celebrating his 25th Anniversary of Ormond's being a state-approved instructor on the faculty of the Hypnotherapy Training Institute when he taught an exceptional afternoon class for our graduates, four days before he passed on. We have received a flood of over 200 emails and cards of condolences and appreciation for Ormond from our graduates around the world in the last two weeks, and more from colleagues around the world as well. But it's not the quantity that has so blown us away; it's the quality of the incredibly deep appreciation for Ormond. Marleen copied most of these messages and has them in a folder at the front table for any of you who are interested in seeing some of them. And I know this great appreciation is felt as well by thousands of others around the world who Ormond has touched.
It's wonderful to have seen so far at least 50 graduates of HTI here today, among the 150 or so of us present. As current President of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, it's also great to see dozens of ACHE members, many of whom are our graduates. I wish to acknowledge the tremendous appreciation given to Ormond for many years by the two largest and most important Hypnotherapist Organizations, the ACHE and the National Guild of Hypnotists. On the Advisory Boards of both organizations all along, he has received countless accolades by both organizations, including for example a Lifetime Achievement Award by the ACHE in 1988, one of the very few ever given, and the Year of McGill honor by the National Guild. But I feel all the awards and acknowledgements are dwarfed by the incredible love and appreciation for Ormond by the members of these organizations, as exemplified by the thunderous standing ovations he's been given each year at their annual events.
Ormond began his career in hypnosis giving a stage demonstration in high school in 1927. That needed some improvement. He did rapidly improve, and by the late 1930's became regarded by many as the greatest stage hypnotist. In those days, according to various sources, there had been only two kinds of professionals doing hypnosis in this country: psychiatrists and stage hypnotists. Hypnosis was just beginning to expand to psychology and other fields, and was beginning to become a career for some. Two great stage hypnotists he loped lead the way, growing up with the field as the field grew up with them: Dave Elman and Ormond McGill. Elman dropped stage hypnosis, while Ormond continued it, but expanded to begin writing much more broadly about the field in the 1940's.
I credit Gil Boyne for helping bring Ormond out of his retirement and despair over the death of his beloved wife Delight, by having Ormond teach a seminar in 1979. His promotion of that event highlighted Ormond's legendary status as a stage hypnotist and author. I was delighted to discover a year later that Ormond lived in northern California. Marleen and I met with him exactly 25 years ago, in November 1980, and the three of us enthusiastically prepared for him to teach hypnotherapy with us at our Institute. I transformed his title of the Dean of American Stage Hypnotists to the well-deserved title, The Dean of American Hypnotists, which fit him like a glove. He taught his first class for us in January 1981, and it was fabulous.
Two of the condolences we received were from students in that first class. One of them, Barbara LaRue, remembered the hypnosis she experienced from Ormond in that class. I'll add, it was pretty dramatic. A car crash occurred while Ormond was giving her suggestions. He walked to the window for a moment and saw that it was his car that was hit, and came back to continue. We didn't know it was his car until he excused himself during the break. When we responded to Barbara's email, we asked if she remembered the crash and brief pause, and she wrote that she did, far far away, and it didn't faze her wonderful experience of that hypnosis.
Ormond continued writing books and articles. But aside from a couple of times Ormond taught for another school in northern California, he was just teaching hypnotherapists with us. Then his tremendous skills as a hypnotherapy teacher were discovered big-time in 1987. The ACHE highlighted him at their First Annual International Hypnotherapy Conference in February. The National Guild created an Ormond McGill Power Hypnosis Hypnotherapy weekend seminar on November 7-8, which was followed by several more in 1988. Then the ACHE promoted Ormond McGill MasterMind weekend seminars, and the Guild promoted him at their Conventions, and both organizations have continued highlighting him at their annual events. Soon he was traveling with Marleen to teach hypnotherapists in New Zealand and Australia, teaching with Chuck in the UK, and has for many years now been widely appreciated for his teaching hypnotherapy.
Those who have experienced at least a full weekend of Ormond teaching hypnotherapy, as we have continued to provide in our Level 2 classes and for hypnotherapists, can fully appreciate what he's had to give. Amazingly, he's continued to get even better over the years, and has always had much more to teach in the Level 6 advanced classes of our 300-hour program, and periodically in some of our other advanced classes as well.
Although Ormond didn't otherwise have a private practice, he did phenomenal private sessions over the past 25 years, set up by Marleen for participants of his seminars with the Hypnotherapy Training Institute.
One of the descriptions we give of Ormond in our brochure has changed very little if at all for over 20 years. "He has combined his profound mastery of many hypnotic techniques; his deep personal understanding of Eastern systems of meditation, mysticism, wisdom and healing; and his creativity, vision, compassion, humor and life experience."
Ormond's body finally gave out at the age of 92, but his mind, heart, creativity and spirit kept expanding to the end. He was writing prolifically to the end, and he completed his first novel last year - he was really proud of it too! On the day he ascended, I wrote, "Ormond gave so much in so many ways to our field of hypnotherapy. But many of us feel that his greatest gifts to us have gone way beyond his pearls of wisdom, and were often felt being in his charming presence. Beyond what he said it was how he delivered it, always with great kindness, humility, respect, caring, good humor and love. While we can mourn our loss, we can be grateful he gave of his magical, wonderful life and work so fully as long as he did."
Ormond periodically had some very serious health issues over the last several years, but he considered them a private matter, and we all need to respect his privacy. But without going into any health specifics, I think I can discuss a related experience. He had just had major surgery, and on one occasion as I drove down to the hospital in Palo Alto, I had become resigned to stop being in denial about the fact that he was dying. I thought I was arriving at his deathbed. Ormond was terribly weak and could barely talk. As we held hands, he struggled to tell me his work wasn't complete. He still had more to give, more service to provide. He said he would somehow find a way to make it through. That was four years ago. My God, he willed himself to life!
A friend just wrote, "I know the most refined part of Ormond's spirit will continue to live in (us)." He said, "This is not just a platitude; it is easy to believe if you love Bach, for example." So thank you Ormond for the magic of being a part of us. And Ormond, you are such a Delight.   Randal Churchill Director, Hypnotherapy Training Institute http://hypnotherapy.com President, American Council of Hypnotist Examiners

OBITUARY: ORMOND DALE MCGILL 1913-2005: GIL BOYNE AS WRITTEN BY MARLEEN MULDER:  The Legendary Ormond McGill, known world-wide as The Dean of American Hypnotists, was born in Palo Alto, California on June 15, 1913, where he lived until his death on October 19, 2005 at the age of 92.
Actively involved in the field of hypnotism since 1927, McGill received international acclaim for his innovative books, pioneering the integration of hypnotism, meditation and creative hypnotic strategies. In all, he published over twenty-five books, several of which are considered classics in the field. He was honored by numerous organizations, including the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, The National Guild of Hypnotists, the Hypnotherapy Training Institute, and the Society of American Magicians
Ormond McGill was a magician and hypnotist of international acclaim, and toured many parts of the world with his exciting stage shows. He was one of the first stage hypnotists to perform on radio and television, including appearances on the popular Art Linkletter TV show. After the passing of his wife, Delight Olmstead McGill, in 1976 he continued to tour, presenting his "Concerts of Hypnotism."
In addition to his work in stage hypnotism, McGill was an active faculty member of the Hypnotherapy Training Institute in Corte Madera, training hypnotherapists since 1981. He taught his last class for a group of advanced students just four days before his passing.
Ormond McGill was also a prominent naturalist and made well-known contributions in the fields of entomology and conchology. He was a true collector with a great variety of interests. Of all his contributions, the wealth of his teachings will stay with us forever. They came out of his profound mastery of many hypnotic techniques, his deep personal understanding of Eastern systems of meditation, mysticism, wisdom and healing, and his creativity, vision, compassion, humor and life experience.
In recent years, Ormond McGill has been able to stay independent, largely through the loving care of his dear friend and colleague, Marleen Mulder, Director of the Hypnotherapy Training Institute. He is survived by his four nephews and their children from the Olmstead family of Palo Alto, as well as by thousands of grateful students and colleagues and a wonderful circle of friends.
A memorial celebration of Mr. McGill's life was held on Sunday, Nov. 6 3005.

ORMOND MCGILL HYPNOSIS: (THESE SCRIPTS WERE SENT TO ME SEVERAL YEARS AGO WITH PERMISSION TO PRINT ON MY WEBSITE): MCGILL INDUCTION ADAPTATION: Have client fix eye gaze on some object so that eyes are looking upward and suggest: Just relax back in your chair, let every muscle of your body be completely at rest, and keep your attention concentrated on that spot, and forget everything else, except the one desire to relax. Everything is beginning to feel so very comfortable. It just seems so good to thus, relax and let everything go...
Your whole body seems so warm and comfortable...a pleasant warmth begins to penetrate every muscle of your body...You are relaxing more and more comfortable and it feels so pleasant to be in that chair. Everything is so very pleasant, comfortable, and warm and you are relaxing more and more.
Now as you relax back in your chair, your gaze is getting more and more concentrated on that spot...And as I talk to you, I may use the word sleep and you may feel as if you are going into a deep state of sleep, but you always are able to hear and understand what I say.
Now you continue to look at that stop, your eyes are beginning to become very heavy and tired...But they won't close yet because you are concentrating so powerfully upon that stop. But now though, as I count slowly from one to ten, they begin to close, close your eyelids anytime you wish as I count slowly from one to ten as the eyelids, become so very heavy. One... Eyes beginning to water, two... how very heavy and tired your eyes are. How strained they feel. They are so tired. So very, very tired. Three... Close them now, shutting out the light. Four... The eyelids are just like lead, so heavy. Close them tight now shutting out the light, letting them rest. Five... So heavy. Six... Eyes closing right down tightly together. Close them tight, that's it. Eyes all closed right down tightly together. Seven... Eyes all closed, shutting out the light. Eyelids closed tight together. Eight... It feels so good to just close those tired, tired eyes, and let everything be just quiet and dark. Nine... So comfortable. Ten... Eyes are closed tight together now, everything so quiet and dark.
Eyes are closed in darkness now. Now go to sleep. Go deep to sleep. Everything is gently drifting and floating gently by...and you are sinking on down, down, deep to sleep. Just floating and drifting gently as thought on a cloud, and you are sinking on down, down, gently to sleep. Go to sleep, go deep deep to sleep.
How tired you are; every muscle in your body just calls for sleep...wonderful, restful sleep that takes away all tiredness. How tired you are, so tired, so very, very tired...you need sleep so badly...wonderful, restful sleep. So go to sleep. Go fast, fast to sleep. You can feel that wonderful rest and relaxation creeping through your entire body, and you are drifting...drifting...and
floating on down, down to deep, sound. Wonderful sleep. Everything is just fading, fading, fading far, far away, down into deep, wonderful, peaceful sleep...
Go deep asleep now. That's it, go deep asleep. Now!...Go sound asleep...You are breathing deep. You are breathing deep and free. Breath deep and free. As you breath, you are going deeper and deeper. Every breath you take is sending you on down deeper and deeper to sleep.
Nothing to bother you, nothing to disturb you...all is so quiet except for the pleasing music in the background and my voice. Breathe deeply and go deeply to sleep. Your muscles are all so very relaxed and comfortable. You feel so good as you relax even more, so very comfortable.
Your jaw is relaxing now. The muscles of your face and jaw are
relaxing completely. You may want to open your mouth a little bit as you relax more and more...now inhale a very deep slow breath. Hold it. Now exhale slowly, very, very slowly. How sleepy you are becoming, how very, very sleepy. Go deep, deep to sleep...All right now, inhale again; inhale deep. Hold it, and now exhale very slowly. Exhale very, very slowly, go deep, deep, very deep...hold it, and go to sleep as you exhale so very, very slowly. Go deep, deep, deep asleep.
As I count from one to five and say deeper and deeper, you can go deeper and deeper asleep. One, two ,three, four, five...deeper and deeper...sleep deep now. Wonderful restful sleep is all that matters. Nothing to bother, nothing to disturb. Every breath you take is sending you down deeper and deeper to sleep. Though you can hear and respond to every word I say, you go deeper and deeper asleep...
A warm sensation is coming into your body and you can feel a tingling in your fingertips. A tingling like the nerves feel when they go to sleep and you are going deeper and deeper asleep. You may find one or more of your fingers so light and tingly that they seem to rise, rise, jerking rising upward. Now just let your fingers relax and rest comfortably on your lap or the arm of the chair and go deep asleep. As you sleep deeply, your subconscious mind can hear every word I say and can follow the good and helpful suggestion that I give you...Sleep deep now and follow my suggestions. (Therapy begins)
MCGILL AWAKENS ADAPTATION: (If client is a patient in hospital, you may suggest that they drift into natural sleep): You're fast asleep now. It has been a wonderful, restful, healthy sleep. You feel good about yourself...and when I awaken you, in just a few moments, you awaken feeling wonderful and well. As I count from one to five with every count you slowly awaken, and by the time I reach the count of five, be wide, wide awake and alert. At the count of five you feel fine and refreshed as if you have had a nice long nap. You awaken feeling refreshed, wonderful, and well. You may remember to forget or forget to remember what was said while you had your eyes closed. You may remember as you remember a dream, but the suggestions have gone into your subconscious mind and they are beginning to work for you.
Already now. It is almost time to begin thinking about getting up...I am counting now and on the count of five you are wide awake and alert. One, you are beginning to wake up...Two, like a dream the custom of sleeping begins to lift. Sleep is slipping and fading away, and you are beginning to wake up. Three, your eyes are opening and you are waking up. See the light. Four, wide awake now, wake up. Five, wide, wide, wide awake, alert, and you feel just fine.
MCGILL FORMULA FOR MASTERING DESIRES: ADAPTATION: "You are becoming the master of your desires, for you know that your true source of happiness originates inside yourself. For Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is within you." You still have desires, for you are very much alive in the world and are filled with energy to live life fully. But your desires lead to self-betterment and benefit you in every way.
You have discovered your inner SELF, and you know that your real source of happiness comes from inside yourself and from the God within and beyond you. Knowing where your real happiness comes from gives you perfect mastery over all desires. You have become the master of your desires.
In having perfect control over your desires you can enjoy whatever you want to desire. As master of your desires you can enjoy whatever you want to desire. As master of your desires, happiness flows through you at all times, and you radiate happiness to others.
You are filled with boundless energy, and your energy makes you complete master of your desires. Whenever you feel a need for desiring something, you witness it as a thing apart; and the decision, whether or not to satisfy the desire, is entirely under your own control. You ask yourself the question, "Will the satisfying of this desire benefit me." For you are the master of your desires...and in this way you have achieved a high state of the conscious. You are master of all your desires. In this awareness of your true nature you realize that your real happiness emanates from inside yourself and from God. You know that you have no need to desire anything, as you already have it ALL. And so you can let desires come and go entirely as you please. For in knowing that your inner SELF in relationship to God is your real source of happiness, desire for anything has completely lost control over you. For you are the master of all desires. You are the master of your SELF.
You have discovered your SELF, and know that your true happiness comes from deep inside yourself and from God. Knowing this has given your perfect control over all desires. You have become the master of desires.
And your mastery over desires has give you control over all your habits. You can enjoy a habit when you want to enjoy it, but you enjoy it because you want to enjoy it, not because the habit makes you. When you do not want a habit, you simply let it go. It is easy, for becoming master of desires has given you absolute control over your habits. So you are now also the master of your habits.
You know from whence your real source of happiness comes, and so you now have perfect control of all desires in the world. You appreciate and enjoy life to the fullest extent in the world, but you know that your real source of happiness is not to be found in the outside world, but is found within yourself.
It feels so good to be master of your desires. It makes your mind free and happy. You are the master of all desires.
You know your SELF which dwells in your inner world. You know that you are complete in every way, and there is nothing you need to desire. YOU HAVE IT ALL ALREADY!
These suggestions of being master of your desires go directly into your subconscious mind and become your very own, making you the master of all desires for your SELF, which is your source of real happiness.
You know your SELF as an individual consciousness. There is no one else precisely like yourself in the entire universe. You now know your true nature. You are becoming increasingly conscious of your consciousness with every breath to take.
You are becoming ever more aware of your true nature with every breath you take. You recognize yourself as a consciousness dwelling inside your body. You recognize yourself as consciousness. You recognize yourself a consciousness. And in this becoming conscious of your consciousness is advancing as you recognize your true nature as being harmony with the universe.
This advancing of consciousness floods your mind like a bright light, and all things become clear to you. You begin to experience flashes of your consciousness coming into you. And these flashes KNOWING the truth about all this come into you more and more from this time forward. Your consciousness is advancing.
As your consciousness advances, your mind is freed of the chatter of thoughts and becomes silent; and the input of KNOWING WHAT IT comes into you. KNOWING comes into your mind with crystal clarity.
As your consciousness advances, more and more you recognize your immortality. Your mind is becoming clear like crystal, and you are beginning to think with crystal clarity. Direct perception of truth of what IS about all things and about what you think flows into you, as your consciousness advances. Your mind is beginning to function to perfection.
As your consciousness advances, the reasoning powers of your mind become more positive and optimistic. Your thoughts are filled with energy and produce energy that you direct toward their attainment. And you attuned to the God within you who is also the God beyond you. Your intellect and your ability to think with crystal clarity and to know instinctively what is truth are advancing in leaps and bounds. Your mind is becoming boundless. You are advancing in consciousness. You are advancing in consciousness. You are advancing in consciousness.
You can use the power of reflection now which brings you in glimpses of truth about the things you reflect upon. This experiencing of truthful reflection advances more and more your consciousness.
Your mind is becoming silent and you can automatically clear your mind of a ceaseless barrage of thoughts anytime you please. It is easy for you to do, and as your mind becomes silent, under your control, you advance more and more towards attaining a better understanding of yourself, and you are beginning more and more to KNOW about your true nature. You recognize your true nature, and you understand about your immortal nature.
As your consciousness advances in consciousness, you are developing faith. Jesus said, "I am come that you may have more abundantly. You are experiencing the more abundant life and this is progressive.
And you are developing self-remembrance, and in everything you do, you witness yourself doing it, and you KNOW you are the one who is doing whatever you do. Your self-awareness is advancing and is part of your advancing consciousness. When you walk you know
it is YOU who are walking. When you talk you know it is YOU who are talking. With everything you do YOU have self-remembrance that YOU are the doer.
And as your consciousness advances you are discriminating in recognizing your true nature. KNOWING comes into you and you have an awareness of your SELF. As your conscious advances, your mind concentrates upon whatever you turn your attention. This quality
of concentration goes hand-in hand with your advancing consciousness. You are experiencing God's spirit within you for Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is within you."
Your consciousness is advancing. Your consciousness is advancing. Your consciousness is advancing. (Day by day in every way, you are experiencing more fully the abundant life.
